1. Definitions

In these Terms of Use, the following terms will be used with a capital letter both in the singular and in the plural. A definition of each is given below:

Thesis 4u, is the commercial structure of the limited liability company T4U s.r.l. with registered office in Torre Boldone, Bergamo, at Via Borghetto 2, and registered in the Business Register of the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce under registration number and tax code: 04469360160;

Service: the service offered by Thesis 4u to the User, as better described in art. 3;

Account: as a part of Thesis 4u granted to the User for use and aimed at allowing him to access part of the Thesis 4u functions, also through authentication procedures;

Access credentials: the username and password by which the User is allowed to access his / her Profile and the Service;

User: natural person and / or company / Student/ professor who has created a Profile and uses the Service as a student / undergraduate / recent graduate / professor / company (Company User); who accesses Thesis 4u in compliance with the “terms and conditions of use” and who acts for purposes relating to any entrepreneurial, commercial, craft, university or professional activity carried out; and subject who uses the services of Thesis 4u

Content: all information published on the Site by Users under their own responsibility; like any file and information created, shared, uploaded or disseminated through Thesis 4u.

Database: the data collections created by Thesis 4u which include Profiles and other Content;

Terms of use: these terms of use;

Student: student means an adult who is attending university or has just graduated when registering on the platform

Company Profile: the personal description published by a User who is a natural person / Company on the Site, which includes the contact name and surname, email, telephone, company description, number of employees, website, company name, registered office (address, city, province, state ), VAT number, Unique Code / Recipient, Brand, Employee Number and a photograph, and other possible information;

Student Profile: the personal description published by a student on the Site, which includes the name, surname, gender, telephone number, date of birth, place, skills and qualifications, university, faculty, current study path, CV, graduation date, willingness to start, expected graduation grade, current path, self-description, and a photograph, and other possible information;

Professor Profile: the personal description published by a professor on the Site, which includes the name, surname, gender, telephone number, date of birth, place, skills and qualifications, department, subjects taught, university, faculty, CV, willingness to initiate, self-description, and a photograph, and other possible information;

Website: the Thesis 4u website available on the page and on all associated pages (www.thesisforyou.com);

Idea: as the topic of a thesis project that the User would like to develop and for which he is looking for a company

Project: as a description of a thesis project that the company proposes to students and professors

Expression of Interest: such as the notification made through Thesis 4u to the User communicating the User’s interest in a thesis project.

2. Modification and / or integration of the Terms of use

Thesis 4u is authorized to modify and / or supplement these Terms of Use at any time. The most recent version of the document will always be available on the Site and will be submitted to the attention and acceptance of the User during the use of the Service with prior notice. The use of the Service following the modification and / or integration of these Terms of Use implies irrevocable acceptance of the modifications and / or additions. If you do not wish to subscribe to the modified and / or supplemented version of the Terms of Use, you will not be able to use the Service further and will have to remove your Profile.

3. Thesis 4u

Thanks to Thesis 4u, students will be able to: upload their idea of ​​thesis they want to develop, find the company to interview, find and apply for a thesis of their interest and be visible to companies as possible talents to be included in their staff, find and explore the companies present.

Thanks to Thesis 4u, companies can: upload their thesis project, scouting talents, see students’ and professors’ ideas, be present on the platform.

Thanks to Thesis 4u professors will be able to: upload ideas and / or research topics that they want to develop, find and apply for projects of their interest

At the time of entering a project / idea everyone are prompted to fill in specific fields that are used to facilitate matching.

4. Access to the Service and Availability

4.1 In order to use the Service, it is necessary to create a Profile in the manner described on the Site. The profile is personal and non-transferable. It is expressly forbidden to create a Profile in the name of third parties, severely punished by law. During registration, the User will be asked to determine their Access Data which will allow them to access their Profile. The User can modify, add and update the content of his Profile at any time.

4.2 The Student Profile is private and can therefore only be consulted by Company Users. Professor profile is private

4.3Thesis 4u stores and processes all the Content made available by Users through www.thesisforyou.com, app.thesisforyou.com/area-studenti, app.thesisforyou.com/area-aziende, app.thesisforyou.com/area-professori and every annexed/connected owned by T4U s.r.l.

4.4 The User is required to take all precautions to guarantee the absolute confidentiality of his / her access data. It is not allowed to communicate your access data to third parties. The use that is made of the Service through the Access Data is under the sole responsibility of the relevant User. Thesis 4u assumes that the User actually corresponds to the person making use of the Access Data.

4.5. In the event that the User discovers or has reason to suspect that his Access Data are in the possession of unauthorized persons, he is required to immediately inform Thesis 4u, without prejudice to the obligation to immediately take effective measures in person. such as, by way of example but not limited to, changing the password. Thesis 4u is in no way responsible for damage caused by unlawful access or use of the Site and / or the Service by third parties through the User Access Data.

4.6 Thesis 4u is authorized at any time, without prior notification and without in any way being required to pay damages or be held liable towards the User to, (i) make procedural and technical changes and / or improvements to the Site and / or to the Service which also involve the temporary suspension and / or unavailability of the Service and (ii) deactivate, limit or remove, temporarily or permanently, the Service or the Profile of the individual User.

4.7 Thesis 4u will endeavor to ensure that access to the Site and the Service is provided without interruptions and without errors. Given the nature of the technological and non-technological tools (including those of third parties) used for this purpose and of the internet network in particular and the necessary interaction with other subjects and the countless variables existing in the provision of the Service, uninterrupted and secure access and the absence errors in the operation of the Site and the Service are not guaranteed.

4.8 Thesis 4u is in no way responsible or required to pay compensation for any damage, including indirect and / or loss of chance, deriving from or caused by the (temporary) non-functioning or interruption, even temporary, of the functioning of the Site and / or Service, especially when the same are determined by chance or force majeure.

4.9 Thesis 4u does not provide any guarantee, does not undertake any commitment and does not safeguard the User in relation to the quality, safety, legitimacy, integrity and correctness of the Site and the Service, unless otherwise provided in these Terms of Use.

4.10 The responsibility for the purchase and / or correct functioning of the infrastructure and adequate telecommunication tools necessary for the use of the Service, including the internet connection, is the sole responsibility of the User.

5. Use of the Service

5.1 Thesis 4u does not intervene in any way on the Profiles and Content published by Users. Thesis 4u is not an intermediary. The purpose of the Service is exclusively to put Users in contact within the platform and to ensure that there are matches. Thesis 4u does not carry out any checks on the identity, quality and characteristics of the Users and is therefore not responsible for any damages connected to them or for damages caused by the advertisements published or the results.

5.2 It is the sole responsibility of each User to select from among the projects / theses / candidates present on the platform, to arrange meetings and eventually reach agreements. Thesis 4u is in no way involved in any subsequent contact between Users, facilitated thanks to the service offered by the platform, nor in any commitments and / or agreements deriving from the contact itself.

5.3 Full responsibility for the actions undertaken by the individual User through the Site and / or the Service is and remains the sole responsibility of the User.

5.4 The User and / or Visitor is not allowed:

1. a) make use of tools other than those contemplated by these Terms of Use and / or previously approved in writing by Thesis 4u to consult the Site or use the Service and the database, make use of data mining, robots or other means to the collection of data or any tool and / or software and / or hardware solution in its possession or made available by third parties, insofar as they are used to retrieve information accessible through the Database Service or to analyze using a crawler, extract information, consult the database or use it and / or view it in any other improper way;
2. b) collect through the Service and / or use the data of other Users for purposes other than those mentioned in these Terms of Use, unless expressly authorized in writing by Thesis 4u and the User concerned;
3. c) reproduce, publish, resell, use for commercial purposes or make the Content acquired through the Service available to third parties;
4. d) involve third parties to perform one of the acts mentioned in this article.

5.5 Participation is free for students (in the specific student area) and professors.

5.6 The “Company” User (in the appropriate company area), depending on the subscription chosen, can use the Service for free or upon payment of a fee which depends on the type of subscription chosen or the service requested. The subscriptions, the services provided and the relative prices are indicated on the Site (Prices section).

5.7. T4U s.r.l. reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to vary the services offered through Thesis 4u, by integrating new features or by suspending or modifying some of them, in order to improve the services rendered.

5.8 The Company customer will have the possibility to activate a paid subscription to Thesis 4u of limited duration. 

5.9 The Customer acknowledges that in order to use Thesis 4u he must equip himself with electrical, electronic or any other kind of equipment, software, telephone and / or network services and anything else necessary and that, therefore, Thesis 4u does not include the ” provision by the Supplier of tools necessary for access to the internet. The Customer also undertakes to keep the Supplier harmless from any claim that may be advanced against the latter for any reason or in any way related to the unsuitability of the hardware and / or network and / or software systems designed to allow correct use of Thesis 4u. The Customer acknowledges that the internet network is not controlled by the Supplier and that, due to the peculiar structure of the aforementioned network, no public or private entity and not even the Supplier is able to guarantee and monitor the performance and functionality of the branches of the network and check the contents of the information that is transmitted through your network. For this reason, no responsibility can be attributed to the Supplier for the transmission or reception of illegal information of any nature and kind.

5.10 The Contents, works and materials published or otherwise present on Thesis 4u – including, by way of example and not limited to, the trademarks, logos, images, photographs, press releases and documents in general reproduced therein, as well as the application software and the codes used for the implementation of Thesis 4u – are the exclusive property of T4U srl, or used with the authorization / license of the relative owner. Any different exploitation of the aforementioned material is forbidden, for any purpose, without the prior consent of T4U s.r.l.

5.11 This Site as a whole, and all the material contained therein, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You can therefore view, print and copy the contents of this Site (including, by way of example only, texts, images, animations, videos, logos and drawings) solely for personal purposes of a non-commercial nature. Except as provided herein, it is not permitted to use, modify, print, display, reproduce, distribute or publish the information contained in this Site without the written consent of Thesis 4u. This Site may contain material protected by third party intellectual property rights. In such cases, the permitted uses must be verified with the owners or licensees of the related rights as identified on the Site from time to time.

5.12 T4U s.r.l (Thesis 4u) Services offered to Companies, including the opportunity for a Company to post offers on Thesis 4u platform or post offers on Thesis 4u social network channels or sending it trough our newsletter. Companies can purchase “boost” and the announce will be posted in our social media channels in accordance with the channels they select.  Get a Boost to your announce and reach additional students from our social media channels and newsletter and other channels.

6. Payments

6.1. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that the payment can only be made by one of the methods indicated in the specific web page of the Supplier.

6.2 In the event of non-payment or delay in payment of any sum due under this Agreement, the Supplier shall have the right to immediately and without further notice suspend any performance due under this Agreement until the due is received.

6.3 If you purchase any of our paid Services, you agree to pay us the applicable fees and taxes. Failure to pay may cause you to terminate your use of the Paid Services. Additionally, you agree to the following:

• Your purchases may be subject to an exchange fee or price differences based on location (for example, the exchange rate).
• If you purchase a subscription, its cost will automatically be charged in full to your payment method at the start of the subscription for applicable fees and taxes, as specified in the pricing section.
• There is no refund for the purchase of a service.
• We may calculate the taxes you owe based on the billing information you provide us at the time of purchase.
• Some services could have free months for the user who tests the service for the first time. These free months are inherent in the purchase of a package, so the user is required to purchase the service to get the free months.

8. User Content – Publication Rules

 8.1 The User acknowledges and accepts the use by other Users of the Profiles and / or other Content made available through the Service, in accordance with the provisions of these explicitly accepted Terms of Use. The User also acknowledges that Thesis 4u has no power to intervene on the observance of these Terms of Use by other Users and / or third parties, except as provided in the following article 6.3 in the face of detection and / or notification part of other Users.

8.2 It is not permitted to publish Content that:

1. is discriminatory based on physical appearance, race, religion, sex, culture, origin or which, in the sole discretion of Thesis 4u, is otherwise offensive or inappropriate or harmful to the dignity of the person;
2. stimulates violence and / or harassment of individuals or third parties, leads or is the consequence of the exploitation or abuse of individuals or third parties or that favors or provides for the performance of illegal acts;
3. at the sole discretion of Thesis 4u, is contrary to morality or good taste or is violent;
4. in which personal information is requested and / or personal information of third parties is made available or in which one’s contact details are included. If the User shares confidential information and / or third-party content such as, for example, photographs or personal information of third parties in the references, the User must have previously acquired the necessary authorizations from the interested third parties. In the event of a dispute, the User must provide proof of having previously acquired said authorizations;
5. contains viruses, Trojans, worms, bots or other types of software capable of damaging, making it unusable or inaccessible, canceling or appropriating automated operations or which are intended to circumvent the technical protection measures of the Site and / or the Service and / o the computer systems of Thesis 4u;
6. is based on untrue and / or misleading information or which contemplates the assumption of a false identity and / or which unjustly suggests that the User is implicated in Thesis 4u;
7. contains chain letters, junk-mail or spamming and / or that requires passwords or other information attributable to persons for commercial or illegal purposes;
8. violates the rights of Thesis 4u and / or third parties, including, by way of example but not limited to, the Intellectual property rights or the rights relating to the protection of data and privacy of Users and / or third parties;

the. is in conflict with these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy or any applicable legislation and / or legislation in force, is in any other way unlawful or may harm the interests and good name of Thesis 4u.

8.3 Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous paragraphs and in the article, Thesis 4u reserves the right at its sole discretion at any time to limit, reduce, modify, reject or remove the Content from the Service and / or the Site if it deems it necessary, without this in any way conferring on the User any right to request compensation for damages and / or entailing the responsibility of Thesis 4u.

8.4 If a User is of the opinion that a certain Content violates her rights or the rights of another User or third parties, she is required to notify Thesis 4u by sending an email to info@thesisforyou.com.

8.5 OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS RELATING TO THE IDEA: the User is required to enter into Thesis 4u Ideas of his own ownership and authorship, also expressly declaring to be the owner of all rights relating to each Idea and / or Content entered into Thesis 4u, including the rights of intellectual and industrial property. Any information provided by the User must be truthful, and in any case not reticent or in any case potentially capable of misleading T4U S.r.l. and / or the Company regarding the identity or qualities of the User and / or of his Idea. The intellectual property belongs to the person who inserts the idea / thesis project or any content within the platform; Thesis 4u (T4U s.r.l) assumes no responsibility and has no ownership of the uploaded ideas / projects. Thesis 4u (T4U s.r.l.) assumes no responsibility for the agreements made a priori / posteriori by all the parties involved as regards the ownership and intellectual property of the idea and elaborate and more.

9. Customer

9.1 The Customer is obliged to promptly communicate their personal data to the Supplier and ensure that they are correct, updated and truthful. The Customer also undertakes to promptly communicate any changes in personal data useful for the correct issuance of sales documents relating to the purchase of services. In the event of incorrect data, the Customer is required to notify the Supplier no later than the thirtieth day from the issue of the document.

9.2 The Customer acknowledges and accepts that, if he has communicated false, not current or incomplete data to the Supplier, the latter reserves the right to suspend access to Thesis 4u and / or to terminate the Contract pursuant to article 1456 of the Civil Code, withholding the sums paid by the Customer and reserving the right to request compensation for greater damage.

10 Messages

10.1 The User agrees to receive notices and messages from us at the addresses that he has provided (eg. Mail, mobile number, address). If your contact information is out of date, he may miss important alerts.

11. Withdrawal

11.1 The User can withdraw from the Agreement with a written notice of not less than 72 hours, by sending an email to info@thesisforyou.com

11.2 The withdrawal will not be effective in relation to the services already administered.

11.3 The exercise of the right of withdrawal will result in the cancellation of the User’s Account and the simultaneous removal of the information entered therein, unless otherwise provided for by the Agreement. Thesis 4u may also terminate the Agreement with a written notice of not less than 72 hours, by sending a suitable communication by email to the address indicated by the User.

In the event of an actual or presumed violation of the provisions, T4U S.r.l. reserves the right to suspend the provision of Thesis 4u services, or to withdraw from the Agreement at any time and without prior notice.

12 Acceptance of the Agreement

12.1 By checking the boxes at the end of the registration phase, the User declares to have read, understood and accepted the Agreement, as well as to have received, read and understood the privacy information contained in Thesis 4u. Both documents will also be sent in .pdf format upon completion of the registration procedure, to the email address indicated during registration.

13. Links and information from third party sources

13.1 This Site may contain references to other websites (“Links”). T4U s.r.l. (hereinafter “Thesis 4u”) declines all responsibility for the contents and materials accessible on such sites or otherwise obtainable through them. All links to other sites, as well as any other reference to information from third-party sources, cannot in any way be considered as an express or implicit endorsement by thesisforyou.com. Questions and / or comments regarding the sites referred to by the Links must be addressed only to the administrators of the sites themselves. This Site may also contain information from third-party sources, duly indicated from time to time, to which you must make exclusive reference for any matter concerning their accuracy and truthfulness.

14. Disclaimer

14.1 The material contained in this Site may contain inaccurate information and typographical errors. 15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 T4U s.r.l. (hereinafter “Thesis 4u”) will be liable in any way, by way of contractual or extra-contractual liability, for any direct or indirect, actual or potential, specific or generic damage that may arise from use, non-use and / or performance of any product, information or content present on the Site (and this regardless of whether Thesis 4u was aware or not of the possibility of such damage occurring). 16. Contributions

16.1 All contributions or materials sent to T4U s.r.l. In particular, T4U s.r.l. 17. Unauthorized access and use of the site

17.1 Users of the Site are authorized to consult only the documents indicated in the menus of the Site. 19. Jurisdiction

19.1 The Agreement is governed by Italian law; any controversy connected to the Agreement will be the exclusive competence of the Milan Court.
